Those notices will be issued within six months of a violation.

Regulations to enforce eManifest freight forwarder requirements will not be mandatory in July 2014. There is no approximate target date for the final implementation. Follows is the approved message regarding freight forwarder regulations and about staying informed.

The CBSA will communicate when regulations to enforce eManifest requirements for freight forwarders are expected to be in place, once confirmed, and at least 45 days in advance of the mandatory compliance date.
