3. In terms of production technology transformation of the project
in the course of implementation of the project, using technology FHS-sized blast furnace (capacity 4,350 m3 / oven) to serve the steelmaking process; smelting, steel mills and other ancillary works are technologically advanced developing countries, such as blast furnaces, coke ovens and sinter machines using German technology; Converters and plate rolling mill technology used in Japan; Wire rolling mill using US technology; Continuous casting lines using Australian technology; coking technology is traditional technologies (blast furnace, the feed from above, training in anaerobic environments and recovered products are used widely in the world). However, FHS are using coke cooling technology by means of wet (water circulation), instead of cooling the dry method (using inert gas - nitrogen cold) as committed.
To comply with commitments with the Government of Vietnam, FHS has collaborated with the world's manufacturers of advanced technology choices to make the switch cooling method from wet to dry coke (CDQ system). This conversion will be started on 31.01.2017 and commitment to complete the system before July 1 03/31/2019 CDQ and 2nd CDQ system before the 06/31/2019. Pending completion of the above CDQ system, FHS has built water treatment plant circulating stamping coke to handle up to set standards before being reused. Council has requested monitoring FHS must urgently implement and accelerate the completion of the categories mentioned above improved technology on schedule commitments with the Government of Vietnam.
