1.2. Về công trình xử lý khí thải và quan trắc tự động khí thải:
Dự án của FHS giai đoạn 1-1 (gồm 02 Lò cao và các hạng mục phụ trợ) khi vận hành phát sinh khí thải từ 23 ống khói, gồm:
- Nhà máy nhiệt điện: gồm 03 Tổ máy đốt than và 02 Tổ máy đốt khí thu hồi từ lò cốc (COG gồm khí CH4, CO, H2) và lò cao, lò chuyển (BFG gồm khí CO và H2). Các khí này trước khi thu hồi làm nhiên liệu đốt đã qua xử lý làm sạch;
- Xưởng luyện cốc (Lò luyện cốc số 1,2, 3 và 4) sử dụng khí COG, BFG;
- Xưởng Lò cao (Lò cao số 1 và 2) sử dụng khí COG, BFG và than cốc;
- Xưởng Thiêu kết (Máy thiêu kết số 1 và 2) sử dụng khí COG và than cốc;
- Xưởng luyện thép (Lò chuyển số 1, 3 và 4) sử dụng khí O2;
- Xưởng lò vôi (Lò vôi số 1 và 2) sử dụng khí COG, BFG;
- Xưởng cán dây (Lò gia nhiệt cán thép dây phức hợp, cán phôi và cán thép dây tốc độ cao) sử dụng khí COG, BFG;
- Xưởng cán nóng (Lò gia nhiệt cán nóng số 1, 2, 3 và 4) sử dụng khí COG, BFG.
